The rumours are true. Dóri has left kimono as of February this year to devote more time to painting. He's graduating from the art school this month and plans to continue his studies abroad. Dóri has been with kimono since before it was called kimono and even before that. As we would have wanted him to continue playing bass, we can honestly say that we have parted company due to artistic differences.

We'll miss Dóri but fear not, because we've already found a replacement in the form of one Árni Hjörvar Árnason who has been playing for some time with Future Future. We've already written two new songs with Árni in the short time he's been with us, so it looks like this will be a happy change for us.
